Tabnuan event to highlightcooking skills of students

A celebration of culinary heritage awaits food lovers as the Mabalacat Cultural Center is hosting to two events on April 30, 2025, as part of the Filipino Food Month festivities. At 4 PM on said date, the "Lutu-lutuan king Tabnuan" will spotlight the creativity and skills of Senior High School students in the city. Participants will reimagine Putong Babi through a live cooking demonstration, offering new takes on the classic Pampanga favorite.

After this, the "Apag king Tabnuan" will serve a mouthwatering heirloom dishes unique to Mabalacat City. The event was organized by the Mabalacat City Arts, Culture, and Tourism Office in partnership with Mabalacat City College (MCC). Tourism officials in the city promise a "nostalgic journey through time-honored Kapampangan recipes passed down through generations.
