“SyStartup is not just a motivational programme – it offers a complete ecosystem, from training and business networking to funding access, technical and marketing support.“This initiative is part of the Sarawak government’s efforts to empower youths and ensure they contribute to the state’s economic growth,” he said during the Meet and Greet Raya SyStartup event at the Sibu Indoor Stadium yesterday.According to Ripin, the programme has received overwhelming response from youths, including those in rural areas.

“Many participants who started from scratch are now able to manage small and medium businesses more systematically, with some even succeeding in expanding into the online market,” he added. He further noted that the state government aims to expand the programme throughout Sarawak to ensure no young person is left behind in the opportunities of modern entrepreneurship.Ripin also encouraged youths to take advantage of government initiatives like SyStartup to turn their ideas into viable, income-generating ventures that can benefit their communities.
