Synlait to halt milk processing at Pokeno

Milk processor Synlait will stop processing milk at its Pokeno plant south of Auckland and says the site has a “pathway to profitability” in producing soy-based products. In a statement to the NZX, Synlait said it had completed a strategic review of its North Island assets, comprising the Pokeno.
