Sydney Sweeney thanks NASCAR star Ryan Blaney for showing her what she's missed out on

After NASCAR star Ryan Blaney missed out on defending his title as he was beaten by Joey Logano, he spent time with Sydney Sweeney as she tested herself on track.

Hollywood sensation Sydney Sweeney spent the day behind the wheel of a NASCAR stock car alongside 2023 Cup Series champion Ryan Blaney. On Saturday, Sweeney took to social media to share several photos and videos of her day out at Charlotte Motor Speedway. The 27-year-old spent the day with Blaney, who helped her get up to get up to speed as she took part in the NASCAR Racing Experience, which allows customers to drive a real stock racing car on a premier national speedway.

She also posed with Blaney for a photo, sticking her thumb up while he posed.



Sweeney is certainly not the first actor to enjoy driving a race car. Several actors have tested themselves in auto racing through the years, including Paul Newman and Tom Cruise , who have both tested NASCAR Cup Series cars in the past. Also, former "Malcolm in the Middle" star Frankie Muniz has stepped up his racing career in recent years , making the transition to racing full-time.

He will sensationally drive for the NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series championship in 2025. Meanwhile, Blaney has swapped racing for acting in the past. The 30-year-old’s championship win was documented in the first season of ‘NASCAR: Full Speed’ on Netflix, while he also earned credits in films ‘Logan Lucky’ and ‘Cars 3’, as well as in television shows ‘Taken’ and ‘Magnum P.

I.’ Ultimately, it should come as no surprise that Sweeney enjoyed her time driving the race car. She can not only drive a stick shift, but one of the ‘Euphoria’ star’s hobbies is refurbishing vintage cars.

” While her NASCAR outing was a one-off occasion, Sweeney clearly enjoyed the experience and may return to the track. Perhaps she and Blaney can link up on set for a NASCAR racing movie in the future..
