Nick is a valued helper in Parry Kauri Park. He has taken on pest control, which involves filling bait stations and recording bait taken, a task that takes about two hours. He walks the track every day to check that all is okay, clears vegetation and reports any issues.
Since the new walkway was finished, Nick has started mowing the lawn in front of the McKinney kauri, giving visitors a wonderful view of this magnificent tree.
