Swanson has historic day, Montville defeats Jefferson - Girls lacrosse recap

Julia Swanson recorded her 400th career point and 200th draw control in Montville’s come-from-behind 15-14 win against Jefferson in Oak Ridge. 4/25 - 4:00 PM Girls Lacrosse Final Montville 15 Jefferson 14 Montville (2-6) trailed 6-0 at the end of the first quarter and 9-5 at halftime before cutting it to a one-goal game in the third. Montville outscored Jefferson 4-2 in the fourth to come away with the win.

Swanson finished with five goals, six assists, nine draw controls, and five ground balls. Samantha Dorenbush scored a game-high six goals. Gracie Castimore led Jefferson (5-3) with five goals.
