The Swans reserves went into an early lead in the Dorset League Two game thanks to a gift from one of the hosts’ defenders, as he turned the ball into his own net under pressure. The game remained tight and was characterised by an early battle in midfield, as Poundbury pushed for an equaliser, with the Swanage defence holding firm. The Swans persistence paid off as the game wore on, as sub-Dan Thomas provided a perfectly weighted pass for Spencer Grygiel, who finished well to make it 2-0 late on.

The side saw the game out and manager Roy Lock was thrilled with the performance as the Swanage reserves made it two wins from two to continue their perfect start to the season..
