An SUV crashed into a business in Worcester on Tuesday, narrowly missing the owner inside. The building where the business is located is at the corner of West Boylston Street and King Philip Road. It sustained considerable damage to its corner after being struck by the SUV.

Owner Dee Henriquez was just feet away at the time of the crash. "It sounded like the building exploded, Henriquez said. "I don't have words for it.

.. I was just shocked.

.. when I turned around and saw the car, then I obviously realized what had happened.

" Witnesses said the driver of the SUV was conscious after the crash and she was taken to the hospital. It is still unclear why her car left the roadway and crashed into the business. The owner of the building was scheduled to open a general wellness practice in the space next month but said the crash may delay plans.
