MONROE COUNTY, Pa. — The Monroe County District Attorney has launched an investigation after the board of elections said it identified suspicious voter registrations and mail-in ballot forms. Election workers say about 27 forms were fraudulent as the people on the applications did not authorize them.

On at least one form, the applicant was deceased. According to Monroe County's District Attorney, Mike Mancuso, 21 applications were traced to a company called "Field and Media Corps," a subsidiary of Fieldcorps, an Arizona-based organization working out of Lancaster County. 16 of the 21 applications were found fraudulent, with forged signatures and often incorrect or incomplete identifying information.

About half of the fraudulent applications are connected to specific individuals employed by Fieldcorps, whose names are listed on the fraudulent forms as “assisting” in their completion. Six other fraud applications were found non-related to Fieldcorps. Two of them involved mail-in ballots that were allegedly stolen in attempts to cast them.

The other three remain under investigation. Anyone with information should contact District Attorney Detective Thomas McMahon at (570) 517-3025 or [email protected] .
