'Survivor 47' Splits Up the Players and Sends a Tight Group Scrambling

The remaining players of Survivor 47 thought that the game had truly gone individual upon being told to drop their buffs. But you should always expect the Emmy-winning series to have something up their sleeve to shake up the status quo. This time, the dozen castaways were split into two groups.

And when the random draw put the tight Tuku bloc in the spotlight, all it took was one key advantage to break them wide open. And she did almost immediately at Tuku's first vote, when her anger towards TK's attitude caused her to flip on one of her allies. The good news for Tiyana is that she did not go back to Tribal Council for the rest of the premerge, keeping her safe. The bad news is that she was slowly emerging into the spotlight as the next to go, especially when she chose to blow up Gabe's game at the " Survivor Social Hour.

" The tribe split kept Tiyana with all of her Tukus, making Rachel the automatic odd woman out. For what it's worth, Tiyana tried to strike at the opportunity to turn on Gabe, only for Caroline to push back. But the seemingly straightforward vote got thrown for a loop when Rachel played a "Safety Without Power" advantage gifted to her by Sol.

With the easy target removed from the equation, Tuku began frantically whispering, with Tiyana in tears at the idea of not making jury. Yes! As part of the winning group, Sol found the "Take Your Pick Advantage.

" He was able to gift it to someone in the losing group, and they were given the chose to pick between a Vote Block and Safety Without Power. Seeing the writing on the wall with Rachel, Sol gave her Safety Without Power, allowing her to leave Tribal Council, removing her vote, but also her name from the chopping block.
