For the unversed, the Dabba Cartel actor is co-producing the film along with the actor. Talking about Retro, Suriya referenced a song from his film titled Kannadi Poove and expressed his heartfelt gratitude to Jyotika. He said, “There’ll be numerous layers to the film – love, laughter and war, enjoy it.
I love you all (fans and the audience). I’m here today because of you all. I’m here because of your love.
And of course, I also thank my kannadi poo Jo. My journey wouldn’t be as joyous without her." Meanwhile, the trailer of Retro has caused much buzz among fans.
In the film, Suriya plays a local gangster, fighting goons despite his promise to let go of his rowdy lifestyle to his ladylove, played by Pooja Hegde.
