Suraj Venjaramoodu Found A 'Flaw' In Lucifer; And What Prithviraj Did To Fix It

On February 21, Friday, the makers of Mohanlal's upcoming big-budget release L2: Empuraan released a character reveal video featuring actor Suraj Venjaramoodu, who will be playing a politician named Sajanachandran. In the short introduction video, Suraj recounted the time he found a 'flaw in' Prithviraj's directorial Lucifer, and what the actor-director did to 'fix it'. L2: Empuraan, scripted by Murali Gopy, features returning cast members reprising their roles from Lucifer including Tovino Thomas, Manju Warrier, Saikumar and Nandu, among others.

As part of Mohanlal's L2E: Empuraan - 18 Days, 36 Character Reveals, promotional releases are continuing on a daily basis as promised by its makers. On February 21, Friday, the makers of the upcoming big-budget film released a character reveal video featuring actor Suraj Venjaramoodu, who would be playing a politician named Sajanachandran. In the short introduction video, Suraj recounted the time he found a 'flaw in' Prithviraj's directorial Lucifer, and what the actor-director did to 'fix it'.

'One Major Shortcoming'Suraj said, "One day, at the location of the film Driving Licence, in which Raju (Prithviraj) and I had acted together, I told him that I watched Lucifer, and even though many others may had already told him that they loved the movie, I had to add to it too. When he thanked me for the compliment, I told him, 'However, I found a mistake, a shortcoming in the film that no one else could find. Do you realise what it is?'" This piqued Prithviraj's curiosity as he wracked his brains, trying to think of that one flaw Suraj had found before asking him what it was, and Suraj responded, "The biggest shortcoming of Lucifer the film is that I am not a part of it.

" Suraj recounted how Prithviraj burst out laughing and promised his fellow actor that the said shortcoming would be 'fixed' in Empuraan, and now, as the actor-director promised, Suraj was roped in to play Sajanachandran, thus fixing "Lucifer's one big flaw" in its sequel. More About L2: EmpuraanL2: Empuraan, scripted by Murali Gopy, features returning cast members reprising their roles from Lucifer including Tovino Thomas, Manju Warrier, Saikumar and Nandu, among others. Most of the technical crew is also returning, including cinematographer Sujith Vaassudev, composer Deepak Dev, and action choreographer Stunt Silva.

The sequel is produced by Antony Perumbavoor under the banner of Aashirvad Cinemas in association with Lyca Productions. Empuraan will release in theatres worldwide on March 27, 2025.
