“The gesture aimed to show appreciation for the community leaders’ contributions while fostering unity and harmony among different ethnic groups,” said SUPP Bau in a statement.Branch chairman Chong Yie Loong in the same statement emphasised the significance of the occasion, stating that Ramadan is a time of gratitude and sharing.“Through this humble gesture, we aim to show our care to our Malay friends and demonstrate the spirit of unity among different communities,” he said.
