Following the five minutes of footage released in cinemas the other week, DC Studios chief James Gunn confirms it’ll be a while before the next trailer for his “Superman” film arrives.Answering a fan question about when the next trailer is coming on social media (via DCU Updates), Gunn says: “We just released five minutes of footage in theaters so it will be a beat”. That suggests there will be no release this coming Friday with Warners’ “Sinners” or their “The Accountant 2” the following week.
One possibility is with “Final Destination Bloodlines” in mid-May which would allow it to also screen in front of various Memorial Day weekend titles like “Mission: Impossible – The Final Reckoning” and “Lilo & Stitch” the following week.(function (d, s, b) {var mElmt, primisElmt = d.createElement('script');primisElmt.

TV chief Channing Dungey was asked by Deadline this week of any chance of a second season of “The Penguin”. From the sounds of it, the network is open to the idea but there is zero movement on such a possibility in the near future:“The Penguin is one of those things where – and it’s interesting, because when you talk with everyone involved, everyone is interested in possibly revisiting those characters and doing more – it was very much designed as a limited series. But I would never say never.
I think if we can get the creative stars to line up in the right way, and the talent is available – because we certainly wouldn’t want to do this without Colin [Farrell] and Cristin [Milioti] and that team – I would say it’s definitely a possibility, but there’s nothing in the works at the moment.”That’s a different assessment than executive producer Matt Reeves who suggested a second season was being loosely talked about, but a lot depended on timing and of course scheduling in regards to “The Batman: Part II”.“The Penguin” is available to stream on Max.
