Sunshine will be abundant across southeast Minnesota today with temperatures returning to the 80s for a stretch of days to start the week.

Clouds move on out rather nicely throughout the day, with only a few clouds throughout the afternoon and winds staying around 5-15 mph out of the South. Tonight, after staying in the 80s for much of the afternoon, we will see a few clouds keep overnight lows mild again, staying in the mid-60s. Going into the week we do not see too many cooler days immediately, as we still have mid-80s going into Wednesday with another stretch of dry and partly sunny weather across the region.

Thursday also sees plenty of sunshine, so if you want to get out and enjoy this warm fall weather it looks to be a great week to do so. Heading into next weekend however, we will finally start to see some more seasonable temperatures. Highs stay in the low 80s for Friday, but by the evening we are keeping an eye out for the chance of showers moving on through, then cloudier skies and cooler weather in the 60s and 70s prevails for next weekend.
