Sunshine, Seasonable Temperatures, and a Bit of a Breeze to Start the Week

Temperatures stay in the 40s for the early part of the week, before a chance for showers returns to the region midweek.

Sunshine will be abundant throughout much of the southeast Minnesota today, however a bit of a breeze will keep temperatures rather seasonable. Winds look to remain out of the north at 5-15 mph for much of the morning, and due to these north winds behind last night's cold front, temperatures stay in the mid-40s for much of the area. Tomorrow we will still see the breeze throughout much of the region at around 10-20 mph, but it will slowly be shifting to out of the southeast.

However, temperatures do not look to warm up much, as highs remain in the mid-40s. Then by tomorrow night, a few showers look to slide on through the region after midnight going on into Wednesday. The showers then look to linger about the region for the early part of the day on Wednesday, with mostly cloudy skies continuing into the afternoon.
