Clouds will clear out through the region Tuesday — and winds will calm down — with highs in the 40s for much of the afternoon.

The next few days will feature a pleasant stretch of weather throughout Northeastern Minnesota and Northwestern Wisconsin. Tuesday will have mostly sunny skies, as clouds will clear out through the morning. Winds will remain out of the northwest for another day, but they will be much lighter (5-10 mph) by the afternoon as temperatures will reach into the 40s.

Weather on Wednesday and Thursday will dish out more of the same with a lot of sun shining through. Highs will climb into the middle and upper 40s, and further to the south a few spots may get into the 50s. While the weekend may start with rain, temperatures will stay around freezing for the highs, and there will be a chance for some light snow later on..
