Sunny Deol confirmed his role as Lord Hanuman in Nitesh Tiwari's 'Ramayana,' expressing his faith and excitement for the challenging portrayal. He emphasized immersing himself in the character to make it believable. The two-part epic, featuring Ranbir Kapoor as Lord Ram and Sai Pallavi as Sita, is set for release in Diwali 2026 and 2027.

The buzz around ‘Ramayana’ has been growing ever since the cast and concept were teased online. Bollywood actor Sunny Deol has confirmed he is stepping into the role of Lord Hanuman in Nitesh Tiwari ’s much-anticipated film ‘ Ramayana .’ The star shared his thoughts on religion, challenges of the role, and what fans can expect from the epic project.

Sunny, in a chat with News18, said, “I am working in Ramayan as Hanuman; yes, that is true.” The actor, known for his powerful screen presence and strong roles, is gearing up to play one of the most beloved figures from Indian mythology. “Kon bhagwan mein nhi manta?” When asked if he is a religious person, Deol didn’t hesitate to express his faith.
