Jaat, the highly anticipated action thriller recently released in cinemas. Starring Sunny Deol, Viineet Kumar Siingh and Randeep Hooda in prominent roles, the film is directed by Gopichand Malineni. The cast recently appeared in IMDb original series ‘Behind The Scenes’ where they shared insights into what went behind making the film, and their experience shooting for the movie.
Speaking about his experience working in a Telugu film, Sunny Deol said, “The only difference basically is always the language, otherwise there was nothing because cinema is itself a language which we all understand and definitely the fun was that the subjects are so rooted to the nation. We hardly see Hindi cinema doing that off late for a long time and it was fun and one felt excited that one is going back to the roots again.” Randeep Hooda added, “Having worked across the world, I think all movie sets are pretty much the same.
The Telugu Industry do take a lot of impact shots. Their shot-taking is very short. Their shots are very short, which was a bit new for me, going from line to line.
But I quickly understood why they do it, because they want to make an impact with every moment, every line and that is what they excel at, and that is what is very exhilarating to watch in the cinema. And Jaat has that in abundance, so if you want to be really entertained and exhilarated. You should go watch it and enjoy yourself.
” Viineet Kumar Siingh commented, “Functioning is done in the same way, technicalities are all involved, as an actor I am going to do the same. Only the conversation is a bit like that, there were so many people with whom we used to interact in Hindi. There are many ADs who know Hindi and while talking to Gopi sir, I never felt that I am not able to understand the scene or what he is trying to say is not coming to me, this has never happened.
So there was clarity and shots, when I saw some things after the edit, that was beyond my expectation, the result was something else. I did not think that things would go like this and work like this, so what Randeep Bhai said, the small, small shots, after placing it in the edit, the impact that comes out, that impact is something else. And watch it on the big screen, it’s fun is different, this film was made in the same way.
” Sharing his experience on playing a negative character, Randeep Hooda said, “The fun part of playing a negative role is basically you get to do things like chop people's heads off and stuff like that and look good while doing it and that's the fun part. It’s a sexy villain at the end of the day and they really worked on the look and everything of it and you get away with a lot of stuff that you probably would not imagine yourself doing in real life and do it with panache and there's no consequences.” Revealing his reaction to his iconic dialogue being used in the film, Sunny Deol mentioned, “I was a little bit not so happy about it, to be very definite, but then I understood why it is required and why the director has conceived that particular dialogue to be there in that scene.
It comes across very well and now everybody is talking about it.” Also Read : Jaat Box Office: Sunny Deol starrer holds quite well on Monday, betters Friday collections More Pages: Jaat Box Office Collection , Jaat Movie Review BOLLYWOOD NEWS - LIVE UPDATES Catch us for latest Bollywood News , New Bollywood Movies update, Box office collection , New Movies Release , Bollywood News Hindi , Entertainment News , Bollywood Live News Today & Upcoming Movies 2025 and stay updated with latest hindi movies only on Bollywood Hungama..
