Sunny and dry before storm moves in this weekend

Today’s weather: Cool, sunny We made it to Friday. Enjoy the sunny skies and partially warm weather today before we experience a wet weekend. We're looking at highs in the lower to mid 60s at the beaches, up to low 70s for coastal cities including the Santa Monica Mountains.

Patchy fog will cover those areas until 10 a.m. In the valleys, the daytime highs will reach the upper 60s to mid 70s and much warmer over in the Inland Empire with highs between 75 to 78 degrees.



Orange County inland areas will reach 68 to 72 degrees. In the high desert temperatures will be a bit warmer with highs in the low 70s and in the upper 70s for Coachella Valley. Tonight's lows will drop to the mid 40s to low 50s except for the high desert where the overnight lows will be chillier in the low 30s.

Forecasters say rain will hit the area come Saturday and we're going to see no more than an inch of rainfall total over the next couple of days. You can read more here..
