Sun Siyam Resorts announced last week the appointment of Pasan Wijewardana as Cluster Director of Sales & Marketing for Sun Siyam Pasikudah and Sun Siyam Iru Fushi, effective August 17, 2024. Pasan brings over a decade of experience in the hospitality industry, having held key leadership roles in luxury, lifestyle, and full-service hotels across Sri Lanka, the Maldives, and Oman. Most recently, he served as Director of Sales and Business Development at Shangri-La Muscat, where he significantly contributed to business growth and strategic development.
Prior to that, he was the Cluster Director of Sales at Shangri-La Sri Lanka. Pasan began his career with Cinnamon Hotels & Resorts in Sri Lanka, where he was instrumental in establishing Cinnamon city hotels in a competitive market. “We are thrilled to welcome Pasan back to the Sun Siyam family.
