Sullivan County Agriculture Day 2024 Saturday, Oct. 19, included dunk tank time for County Commissioners Dwight King of Piney Flats and Herschel Glover of the Bluff City area. The event was at the Ron Ramsey Regional Agriculture Center near Blountville.

The event raised money for Sullivan County graduating seniors going to college or technical school. The Cattlemen's Association, National Weather Service, Farm Service Agency and University of Tennessee Agriculture Extension Service gave presentations.
A drone demonstration, a blood drive by Marsh Regional Blood Center bloodmobile and sponsored by the Farm Bureau's Women's group also occurred at the event, which has food trucks outside and booth presentations inside. Local 4-H Club and FFA students and West Ridge High School students also participated..
