This year, the runway of Bollywood style served conscientious choices, intricate crafts and statement silhouettes. Suhana Khan took traditional wear up a notch by embracing not one but two exquisite pre-draped saris. After wearing a red number, she wore a high-octane Falguni Shane Peacock piece in a powder pink shade.

Apart from the common pre-draped design, both met unanimous accord on one truth—it was high on glamour. Falguni and Shane Peacock brought the KiraKira-friendly vision to life with their inimitable blend of classic and contemporary in a sumptuous pastel palette. Tailored in tulle, the offering illustrates a form-fitted, mermaid-style skirt featuring an embellished belt attached to a flowy pallu.

“Embellished with lime green and light pink Swarovski stones, shimmering crystals, beads, and tassels, the sari was paired with a half-sleeved blouse adorned with crystals,” according to the husband-wife designer duo. Suhana completed the look with minimal statement earrings and a soft, wavy hairdo. This isn’t the first occasion where Khan chose a pre-draped sari from the label.

For Diwali last year, she set a gold standard for festive dressing in a gilded creation that the label dubbed the ‘Suhana Khan’ sari. Adorned with Swarovski stones, sequins and faux feathers, her sari was paired with a cap-sleeved, crystal-encrusted blouse finished with tassels. Earlier in March 2024, Khan turned heads in a Parisian blue iteration of the look for Anant Ambani and Radhika Merchant’s pre-wedding event in Jamnagar , Gujarat too.
