Love Yourself celebrates the fifth anniversary of Luxecare While there have been remarkable changes in how society views the LGBTQIA+ community in the Philippines, more work still needs to be done—especially in creating safe spaces and healthcare services tailored to their needs. Love Yourself Inc., a non-profit organization dedicated to raising sexual health awareness, recognizes this gap in the local healthcare landscape.
This realization led to the creation of Luxecare, the organization’s first private clinic arm. Luxecare provides queer and PLHIV (People Living with HIV) Filipinos with affirming, inclusive, safe, and judgment-free healthcare. In addition to its HIV and STD testing services, the clinic now offers Gender-Affirming Hormone Therapy (GAHT) consultations, ensuring that transgender Filipinos receive expert medical guidance on their transition journey.
Other services include e-consultations, STI testing and treatment, prophylaxis, and pre-exposure prophylaxis (PrEP), all provided in a stigma-free environment—upholding Love Yourself Inc.’s guiding principles: iniingatan, inaalagaan, and inaasikaso. Since its inception, Luxecare has catered to over 13,000 clients.
Beyond healthcare, Luxecare also offers premium aesthetic services that affirm gender identity, providing personalized and compassionate care. These services include acne scar management, CO2 laser treatments, and optimum pulse laser treatments. Staying true to its mission of empowering the transgender community, the clinic also provides free treatments such as acne light therapy, rosacea management, and collagen-boost rejuvenation to transgender individuals.
On Feb. 14, Luxecare celebrated its fifth anniversary, bringing together advocates, healthcare professionals, queer ambassadors, and allies to honor the clinic’s impact and the lives it has transformed. Since its launch, Luxecare has become more than just a clinic—it has become a lifeline.
Among the esteemed attendees was Dr. Vinn Pagtakhan, founder of Love Yourself Inc., who reinforced the organization’s dedication to uplifting the Filipino LGBTQIA+ community.

Vinn teased the upcoming opening of Luxecare’s sixth branch at PITX in the next few months. Additionally, Luxecare is set to launch the X Virtual Clinic, an online hub specializing in STI testing. This innovative service is in its final development stage and will soon be available to the public.
