Strong explosion in Zvecan: Explosive device thrown, increased police presence

Podeli : An explosive device was thrown near the Zvecan municipal administration building in northern Kosovo around midnight, the Kosovo Police (KP) confirmed. According to Zubinpotok.info, the blast caused damage to the building, though no injuries were reported.

Police cordoned off at least two entrances to the municipal administration building with yellow tape following the incident. The KoSSev news outlet reported an increased presence of Kosovo Police forces, including special units, in front of the building and surrounding area. KoSSev was unable to obtain details from officers at the scene about the exact nature of the incident, but reporters observed both uniformed and plainclothes officers searching the area.
