Striker Stuttle joins Farnborough on loan after Aldershot loan cut short

Striker Jonny Stuttle has joined Farnborough on loan after he was recalled from a loan at Aldershot Town this week.

The 19-year-old only joined the Shots in December, scoring twice across eight games for the National League outfit. He was recalled by the on Tuesday, and his loan move to Farnborough for the rest of the season was confirmed on Thursday. The National League South side sit comfortably in midtable in 12th place, with 38 points from their 27 games this term.

Stuttle has been on fine goal scoring form for the AFC Bournemouth development squad and has previously had a loan spell with Tim Sills at Wimborne Town. He joined the Cherries aged 11 after starting his football journey with Weymouth, where he was born, before progressed through the ranks in Bournemouth. Farnborough boss Spencer Day was delighted with the signing and told the club’s website: “It’s a massive boost to get Jonny for everyone.



“I’ve been chasing him for some time and I’m delighted to get him when we need him most. “An old school 9, top scorer in Bournemouth’s U21 and some experience in the National League. “Much thanks to Matt at Bournemouth and his agent Neale for getting the deal done.
