A Strictly Come Dancing spokesperson has confirmed Amy's improving condition and expressed her happiness that Lauren could step in for rehearsals and Saturday's performance for JB Gill 's Couple's Choice routine, stating: "Amy is doing much better.

A representative from the East of England Ambulance Service provided further details: "We were called just after 9pm on Saturday to attend a medical emergency at Elstree Studios in Borehamwood. An ambulance was sent to the scene. One patient, an adult female, was transported to Barnet Hospital for further care.

" After dazzling on the dance floor, Amy and JB ascended to the fifth spot on the Strictly leaderboard with an impressive score of 32 from panellists Shirley Ballas, Craig Revel-Horwood, Motsi Mabuse, and Anton Du Beke. Following a health scare, a statement from Dowden's spokesperson confirmed: "Amy was feeling unwell and so an ambulance was called as a precaution." The representative added in reassurance: "She is feeling much better and would like to thank the Strictly family for their love and concern.
