Strictly Come Dancing viewers were left infuriated by judge Craig Revel-Horwood's remarks about Sarah Hadland and her partner Vito Coppola's performance on Saturday night. The contestants had taken to the iconic Blackpool ballroom to showcase their skills, with Sarah's energetic couple's choice routine to Kylie Minogue's Padam and Can't Get You Out of My Head leaving the studio audience and viewers at home in awe. However, Craig was less impressed, describing the dance as "a bit too perfect", which sparked confusion and outrage among fans.
As the audience expressed their disbelief, Craig elaborated: "I know it sounds weird, I know it sounds weird! But it just lacked an attitude in those still moments that brought you out of the crowd. However spectacular, darling! ". Fans took to X to express their frustration with Craig's comments.
One viewer wrote: "'It was a bit TOO perfect' - oh shut the hell up Craig, no pleasing him. He constantly bitches about imperfections and then complains because there aren't any. Being a t**t for the sake of it," reports the Mirror .
Another fan questioned: "Craig huh? ? ? What the hell 'the dance is TOO perfect' means? Huh? ". A third fan shared their confusion: "TOO PERFECT? ? Literally just give it a 10 it was so good ..
. that's what couples choice should be! ! "An irate fan blasted: "Craig saying Sarah was too perfect is a load of rubbish. He's waiting to give his 10 to one specific person and he's making stuff up to make sure it happens that way.
" Nonetheless, despite the less-than-flattering remarks from Craig, he awarded Sarah and Vito a nine out of ten. This did little to hinder Sarah's triumphant run as she received full marks from the remaining three judges, securing a dazzling 39 out of 40. At 53, Sarah has proven her worth on the dance floor repeatedly this season, though some spectators have raised queries regarding her prior dancing expertise.
Reflecting on her background, the actress shared with the Mirror: "I trained in dance from the age of three and then I left home at the age of 16 to go to a musical theatre college." Strictly Come Dancing is available to watch on BBC IPlayer..
