Tasha Ghouri is going from strength to strength on this year's Strictly Come Dancing , and according to professional former dancer, Brendan Cole, she's on track to achieve a huge milestone. Tasha and her partner Aljaz Skorjanec performed a couple's choice dance on Saturday night to What About Us by P!nk during Icons Week. The pair topped the leaderboard with a huge score of 39, just missing out on the perfect 40, as Craig Revel Horwood awarded them a score of 9.

Meanwhile, fellow judges Motsi Mabuse, Anton du Beke and Shirley Ballas all gave the duo a score of 10 each. Now, Brendan has revealed the Love Island star is "on track" to get the perfect score of 40 and it could happen soon. Speaking to Sky Vegas , Brendan divulged: "Tasha [Ghouri] could definitely be on course for the perfect 40 very soon.

She’s clearly very talented and will no doubt have many perfect scores for the second half of the show. "When she dances, she has an ease of movement, she is clearly very talented, and looks like she belongs on the dancefloor." Tasha and Aljaz got rave reviews from the judges on Saturday night, as well as getting a standing ovation from Motsi.

She expressed: "Sometimes in life, things happen to us for a reason and we never know why. And we never know in which direction it will go bad for you, look at what direction you have now brought to us. "You are on Strictly, we love you, you are representing.

That was a powerful dance, powerful words and you made that look so easy. "That was so difficult. So you are speaking to a lot of people out there, inspiring, keep going.

We love you here." Olympian Sam Quek and her partner Nikita Kuzmin were voted out of the show on Sunday night's result show after landing in the bottom two with Montell Douglas and Johannes Radebe. After a tense dance-off, all four judges decided to save Montell, meaning Sam's journey on Strictly was over as she and Nikita took to dance floor for one final dance.
