Strictly Come Dancing fans are more than certain they know the reason why Love Island's Tasha Ghouri keeps finding herself in the dance off, despite her perfect scores from the judging panel. During this weekend's show, Tasha and her dance partner Aljaz Škorjanec ended up in the bottom two for the second time, against TOWIE star Pete Wicks , which resulted in Pete being eliminated. Although it was clear that Tasha was absolutely devastated by the public vote, after receiving a perfect 40 from the judges.

Fans have now clocked on to what Tasha is doing wrong - and its nothing to do with her technique, reports the Express . Taking to Reddit , user u/vintagesooaps stated: “Am I the only one that understands why Tasha keeps getting in the dance off? I know not everyone watches Love Island, but she quite literally says in her intro clip ‘I’m a model and a dancer’..

. her profession is a DANCER, she’s a professional? “I do like her, I think she’s lovely and she is amazing at dancing, but I don’t think it’s fair and I don’t think she deserves to win. “I get JB has had dance experience before, but no one would label him a professional dancer.

He’s been taught the odd routine for a music video or concert but he isn’t professionally trained in a certain genre of dance. “And I know Tasha isn’t ballroom or Latin trained, but she is a professional dancer, she knows how it works and she knows how to dance well with a partner, there has been no progress since week one. It’s the journey and improvement that I think is deserving of a win.

” As someone questioned: “It is impossible to start with a level playing field because where do you stop? “A musician is likely to have the advantage of understanding rhythm over a footballer. An actor is going to be able to get into the role of each dance better than a celebrity chef. Anyone who has been to drama school will have had some dance training.

“[In my opinion], the only way to remove that kind of advantage is to assess them all and then give them a points-based handicap. Doesn’t sound too fun though and it would probably put lots of celebrities off, but maybe if they did it, it’d soon become a familiar part of the show.” Join the Daily Record's WhatsApp community here and get the latest news sent straight to your messages.

Whilst another said: “Chris is the only finalist who is genuinely not a ‘dancer’ prior to the show. Personally I’m happy to see people go in with prior dancing experience. I think there’s a difference between having dance experience and being a competitive dancer.
