Vadodara: Panic gripped the Jahurpura area of Godhra town on Tuesday after a stray dog went on a biting spree, attacking several people in a crowded marketplace and surrounding residential localities. According to reports, around 25 people rushed to nearby hospitals and clinics for treatment after being bitten. The incident began in the afternoon in Jahurpura, a busy area lined with vegetable vendors and shops, and home to several densely populated neighbourhoods.
The exact reason for the dog's aggressive behaviour remains unknown. As news of the attacks spread, many residents avoided the area, fearing further incidents. Locals also alerted municipal authorities about the situation.
