Stomach disease pushes teen to suicide

Vadodara: A 19-year-old man committed suicide at his home on Tuesday, ostensibly because he was constant pain from a stomach disease. Shrey Dabhi hanged himself when he was alone at his house in the Navayard area on Wednesday. Dabhi, a student at a private nursing college, was suffering from a stomach disease for which he had undergone surgery.

Dabhi left behind a suicide note stating that he took the step due to his disease and no one ought to be blamed for it. Dabhi's father is a teacher, while his mother is a nurse. Fatehgunj police have registered a case of accidental death and are investigating the matter.
