After staying cooler along the shoreline with an east breeze yesterday, temperatures look to warm back up towards 80 degrees for most of the region this afternoon, with mid to upper 70s confined to the North Shore. By this afternoon, the breeze will pick up slightly out of the south at 10-20 mph, with a mix of sun and clouds. Tomorrow will bring more of the same temperatures to start the week, with highs topping out in the low 80s and upper 70s, and winds remaining calmer again for much of the day.

Going through the rest of the week, we still are tracking a couple of drier days, with highs in the upper 70s through midweek. By the end of the week though, we are keeping an eye on the chance for showers by Friday, and as those continue into the weekend, that trough looks to bring cooler weather as well, with highs sliding into the 60s by the end of next weekend..
