We get a mix of sun and clouds throughout the region today, as temperatures top out in the mid-80s for much of the first half of the week.

Today we are staying warm and partly sunny, with a few more clouds than yesterday, but temperatures still warming up into the mid-80s with a light breeze through the afternoon. Going through the week we do not see too many cooler days immediately, as we still have mid-80s going into Wednesday with another stretch of dry and partly sunny weather across the region. Thursday also sees plenty of sunshine, so if you want to get out and enjoy this warm fall weather it looks to be a great week to do so.

Heading into next weekend however, we will finally start to see some more seasonable temperatures. Highs stay in the low 80s for Friday, but by the evening we are keeping an eye out for the chance of showers moving on through, with a rumble of thunder and 70s possible for Saturday afternoon. Then cloudier skies and cooler weather in the 60s and 70s prevails for the rest of the weekend, with showers lingering on into the start of next week.
