“While this might not be correct behaviour, it is a representation of the outburst of emotions. Now that has seeped into social media," the spinner said. While the spinner does not condone the reckless actions of the fans, he emphasised the necessity as a player to stay aloof from the venomous criticism that might be circulated on the internet.
“How we navigate through those trolls depends on us," Ashwin continued. “It depends on if we take a stone thrown at you and you withdraw or if you space it," the 38-year-old elucidated. “We should stay untouched," the former Indian all-rounder said.
