The Dallas Stars hit the ice for a final tilt up in Seattle against the Kraken. The Stars are coming off a previous victory against the Kraken on Saturday, in which they walked away with a 5-1 victory. The Stars will aim to head home with another victory before they kick off the final stretch of their season in April.
Dallas has been one of the best teams this season, and continues to throw their weight around, as was evident in their last matchup with the Kraken. The Stars scored four unanswered goals after Jason Robertson netted his team-leading 33rd goal of the season in the 2nd period. The victory punched the Stars a ticket to their fourth consecutive playoff berth.
While the result clinched a playoff berth for the Stars, the loss effectively eliminated the Kraken from playoff contention. Dallas will be looking for the same result tonight as they face off against the Kraken one last time this season. The Stars will roll out goaltender Casey DeSmith who is coming off a 46-save outing in a 5-2 win over the Calgary Flames.
Eyes will be on Roope Hintz to extend his point streak to five games. Hintz has tallied an impressive nine points amidst the point streak. Wyatt Johnston is also searching for his 30th goal of the season to give him back-to-back 30-goal seasons for the first time in his career.
Puck drop is scheduled for 10 pm, and can be viewed on KHN, KONG, and Victory+..
