The Shawn Levy directorial has locked a May 28, 2027 release date and will begin production this year.The Mandalorian and Grogu Director Jon Favreau, along with actors Pedro Pascal and Sigourney Weaver unveiled new footage from their upcoming film, The Mandalorian & Grogu releasing on May 22, 2026. It will focus on the bounty hunter and Baby Yoda's standalone mission.



The team revealed new footage teasing action-packed battle scenes against stormtroopers. While Pedro Pascal will reprise his The Mandalorian, Sigourney Weaver and Jeremy Allen White have joined the cast. This is the latest official entry of Baby Yodain the Star Wars franchise since Star Wars: Episode IX – The Rise of Skywalker.

Star Wars: Maul - Shadow LordDisney + revealed that Darth Maul is getting his own standalone series titled Star Wars: Maul - Shadow Lord. Sam Witwer will return to voice the iconic villain in the project that's eyeing a 2026 release. As per reports, the new show is touted to tell the story of Maul teaching an apprentice.
