According to Code Sports , Reynolds suffered nerve damage in his neck in a contact drill at Broncos training just before Christmas. The halfback experienced a pain up his right arm which forced him from the field. Luckily it wasn’t anything too serious, but the Broncos erred on the side of caution and sent Reynolds to undergo a minor clean-up procedure.
He’ll be sidelined for the next month but is set to be right to go for Brisbane’s season-opener against the Roosters. Reynolds’ injury isn’t ideal given the Broncos will be without five-eighth Ezra Mam for the first nine weeks of the season. In Mam’s absence, Reynolds is expected to partner the newly arrived Ben Hunt in the halves.
Reynolds is entering the final year of his deal with the Broncos and is coming off a 2024 season which saw him miss half the year with injury..
