The latest episode of the Youtube show, India's Got Latent by Samay Raina, is trending all over social media for good and bad reasons. The panellist of this episode were Samay Raina himself, celebrity Raghu Ram, comedian Tanmay Bhat, neurologist Dr Sid Warrier, and Balraj Singh Ghai. One particular joke made by a stand-up comedian about Deepika Padukone's depression went viral on the internet.

A woman named Bunty Banerjee participated in the show and delivered a standup performance that got people talking. The comedian joked about her origins being a Bengali woman raised in Bihar. She then shared her experience as a mother of a two-year-old and cracked the joke about Deepika.

She said, "Deepika Padukone also became a mother recently, right? Great. Now she knows what depression really looks like." a contestant on India's got latent trolled #DeepikaPadukone for her fake sob story which she created to defame her ex.

One user wrote, "This is so bad. People die because of depression. To laugh at someone because you think someone cooked a fake story shows how insensitive and uneducated this person is.

Even if you can speak english but can’t be empathetic to someone’s mental struggles you’ll always be an illiterate idiot. God forbid one day she or the people present there start struggling from a mental health problem and someone laughs at her for suffering from it is the day she and people sitting in the panel and the audience will realise what it means to suffer from it." I think these women make it difficult for all women by underplaying everything we go through for male validation-our reproductive health, childbirth, break ups (here she has assumed that the reason),mental health in general, post-partum depression, pressures of being a new mom.

Shameful." Samay Raina responded to the backlash and wrote, “Guys it’s not fair. You cannot outrage on Twitter.
