While providing wealth solutions remains its core business, the bank has been actively building its lifestyle proposition to create experiences for its clients and their next generations.

“As a leading global wealth manager for affluent clients, we continually innovate our propositions to uplift the experience, not only for our clients but also for their next generation,” says Eliza Law, managing director and head of affluent segment and distribution, wealth and retail banking, Standard Chartered Hong Kong. The bank, which recently celebrated Priority Private’s fifth anniversary, also officiated a “Masters Series” collection of exclusive events showcasing experts and practitioners speaking on a range of specialised topics, from lifestyle and education to health and wellness and entrepreneurship. Two recent events catering to clients with different interests offered distinctly unique experiences.

One was a food pairing and wine tasting experience with Hong Kong actress-turned-winemaker Bernice Liu, who shared her expertise with the bank’s Priority Private clients. The other session was presented by former track cyclist and two-time Olympic medallist Sarah Lee, who shared the story of her perseverance in pursuit of the Olympic dream, which inspired many of the bank’s clients and their next generations. The Masters Series is complemented by an International Golf Series, where clients can join tournaments with professional golfers in Singapore, Shanghai, Taipei, Kuala Lumpur and Hong Kong.
