Staff of Delhi CM Atishi's Office Detained With Rs 5 Lakh Cash In Car: VIDEO

Election Commission FST has found chats and printed pages from Gaurav and driver Ajeet, who works as MTS at Atishi's office. Sources added that the two men were given tasks to distribute money before election.

New Delhi: Two persons have been detained with Rs 5 lakh cash in their vehicle and these two are said to be multi tasking staff members with Delhi Chief Minister Atishi's office. Sources said that the individuals were allegedly tasked with distributing money ahead of the election. The Election Commission's Flying Squad Team (FST) reportedly recovered chats and printed materials from the detained individuals.

One of the detainees, Ajeet, serves as a Multi-Tasking Staff (MTS) member in Atishi's office. The other person has been identified as Gaurav. Delhi Elections Live Updates Election Commission FST has found chats and printed pages from Gaurav and driver Ajeet, who works as MTS at Atishi's office.



Sources added that the two men were given tasks to distribute money before election. The suspect was questioned at the police station. As per sources, the suspect is part of MTS (multi tasking staff) at chief minister's office.

Election Commission FST was also called at the police station. When asked about the cash in the office, Atishi said, "I am not aware of the incident. I am present here and here BJP workers are distributing cash.

" "There are thousands of workers of the Aam Aadmi Party we have not sent anybody. These are all allegations but right now where I am standing here it is a proof that BJP people are distributing cash," she added. She was at the Govindpuri police station wherein she alleged that BJP workers were distributing cash and were caught red handed.
