The 37 year old presenter took to Instagram to share a sneak peek of her living room, which is currently undergoing a makeover. Recently, Stacey has shared her collaboration with paint brand, COAT, which features a six colour ‘paint palette’ inspired by the house. Discussing the collection on Instagram, Stacey said “this has been such a joyful gig for me”, adding: “I’ve spent so much time really thinking about each room, making sure it feels authentically ‘us’.
” She added that husband Kevin has “zero interest” in the interior design of their home - a trait she said “is perfect, honestly.” Now, Stacey has shown off the results of her latest project, already adding her personal touch to the space as she opted for an olive green ceiling - a colour scheme that seems to be a recurring theme in her home. She captioned the video: 'Me, to my painter [painter emoji] upon arrival at home.
I LOVE IT (so much I couldn't wait for a fancy reveal when it's all finished) 'BIG HOOPS' ON THE CEILING BABY (from my collection w/ @coatpaints obvs have a working relationship with this gorge collection but zero obligation to post. (Just v v into it)." Last year, Stacey gave fans a tour of her dining room, which boasts large bay windows and a marble fireplace.
The walls are painted a chic light green, complementing the grand dining table that can seat up to eight guests. A vintage chandelier hangs above the table, adding a touch of glamour to the room. Modern art adorns the walls, while the large bay windows offer a view of the lush garden.
Stacey admitted she was 'Walking around in disbelief'. The 37-year-old, best known for her gripping investigative documentaries, swapped London for Liverpool last September, after she fell in love with her ‘forever home’ after just one viewing. The move to the city brought Stacey, husband and former Strictly dancer Kevin and one year old daughter Minnie, closer to her mother, who is originally from Liverpool.
Kevin shared with the Liverpool ECHO: "Stacey loves looking at houses on the internet. "Looking at interiors and stuff is her favourite thing to do. She just happened to have seen something she liked and thought, 'Oh it's not too far away from my mum'.
We went and had a look and the second she walked in was like, 'I love it and I can really see us living here'. It all happened really quickly and we love it.".
