Thursday looks to be another wet day around the Northland, but we are tracking a drier stretch heading into the weekend. Around the region, temperatures stay cool in the Arrowhead while still making it up into the 40s with stray showers south of Duluth, and wet flakes possibly mixing in around the North Shore. By the afternoon, we'll start to see the clouds clearing out of the region, and that will be a sign of drier days to come.
ADVERTISEMENT Friday brings in partly cloudy skies, but temperatures will be warming up and warming quickly. By the afternoon, highs top out in the low 50s for much of the Arrowhead, and 60s farther to the south. For the weekend, clouds do look to move in yet again, but temperatures will stay mild, with upper 50s for Saturday and near 50 degrees Sunday.
However, we also are keeping an eye on winds picking up a bit for the weekend, and then chances of showers sliding back in by Sunday night, bringing a brief cool-down back to start next week..
