
ORE CITY — Carson Wallace homered, doubled and drove in fur runs, Shawn Booth added a single and two RBI for the Wildcats and Harleton earned a 10-3 win over Ore City in District 19-2A action. Mason Clark singled twice and drove in a run for the Wildcats. Gage Shirts doubled and singled.
Lucas Townlin doubled twice and drove in a run, and Shawn Booth singled and chased home two runs. Bryce Bowen pitched six innings for Harleton, striking out three and walking three. Caleb Correra fanned two and walked two in an inning of work.
Cayden Laster struck out four and walked three in four innings, and Gage Cavanaugh fanned three and walked four in two innings for Ore City. Parker Hobbs also pitched for the Rebels, striking out one and walking two in an inning. Laster and Aydin Thomas both had two hits and drove in runs for the Rebels.
Laster tripled, Thomas doubled and Ty Main added an RBI. Hallsville Softball Lindsey Dubberly went the distance in the circle and helped her own cause with a home run, leading the Hallsville Ladycats to a 2-1 District 10-5A win over Whitehouse. Dubberly struck out nine, walked six and allowed one earned run in seven innings.
She also hit a solo home run, and Hope Miles singled and drove in the other run for Hallsville. Hallsville Baseball Whitehouse scored lone runs in the bottom of the first and sixth innings on the way to a 2-0 win over the Hallsville Bobcats in District 10-5A action. Kaden Akin struck out four, walked two and allowed one earned run in six innings for Hallsville.
The Bobcats finished with three hits — singles from Trentan Johnson, Christian Martin and Ranson Smith. Jefferson Softball Addysyn Billings turned in a dominant performance in the circle, striking out 14 with no walks while scattering five hits in seven innings as the Hughes Springs Lady Mustangs notched a 5-1 District 13-3A win over Jefferson. Sadie Golden doubled and drove in two runs for Hughes Springs, and Billings added an RBI.
Chloe Wood struck out one and walked four in a complete game for Jefferson. Wood also had two hits to pace the Lady Bulldogs on offense. Harleton Softball Annabelle Green fanned a dozen, walked five and allowed just two earned runs over seven innings as the Harleton Lady Wildcats edged Ore City, 6-5, in District 19-2A action.
Madison Favela homered and singled for Harleton. Green chipped in with a triple and an RBI. Jordan Johnson struck out three with no walks and one earned run allowed in four innings for Ore City.
Addisyn Perez fanned three and walked three, giving up two earned runs in three innings. Johnson and Galilea Abrego both singled twice and drove in runs. Keylee Richardson doubled twice, and Kylie Humphrey and Jlynn Watkins added RBI for the Lady Rebels.
Waskom Softball Kelsey Vaught struck out four with no walks in three innings, and Bryleigh Nelson tripled, doubled twice, singled and drove in four runs to lead the way offensively for Overton in an 18-0 shutout of Waskom in District 19-2A play. Vaught added a double, two singles and an RBI. Mason Fenter and Kasha Williams both doubled, singled and drove in a run.
Halle Mayfield tripled and chased home two runs, and Sarah Emery added an RBI. Anna Grace Hicks tripled and singled in the loss for Waskom. Elysian Fields Baseball Aiden Brantley dominated from the mound, striking out 18 with two walks in seven innings as the Beckville Bearcats blanked Elysian Fields 3-0 in District 19-2A action.
Brantley also added two hits and scored twice for Beckville. Aiden Harris singled twice. Jackson Lambright had a single and an RBI, and Braxton Bullock and Reese Davis drove in runs.
John Beavers, Nunu Kennedy and Brody Parker all pitched two innings for Elysian fields. Beavers struck out five with no walks. Kennedy struck out one and walked one and Parker fanned three with one walk.
Zane Childs and Parker had singles for the Yellowjackets..
