Spl train to offer seven Jyotirlinga pilgrimage

Prayagraj: The Indian Railway Catering and Tourism Corporation (IRCTC) is set to launch a special Bharat Gaurav Yatra train from Prayagraj in June, offering a unique pilgrimage experience to passengers. The train will embark on a journey to seven Jyotirlingas, covering prominent religious sites in Gujarat, Maharashtra, and Madhya Pradesh. The 11-night, 12-day package will include visits to Mahakaleshwar in Ujjain, Somnath and Nageshwar Jyotirling in Gujarat, Dwarkadhish Temple, Bet Dwarka, and Signature Bridge, among others.

The train will depart from Prayagraj Sangam Railway Station, with online booking facilities available. The travel package will include accommodation in AC hotels, food, and AC buses for transportation to temples. Packages will be available in different categories, ranging from Rs 25,000 to Rs 65,000.



Passengers will also have the option to pay in instalments. The booking will be done offline from the IRCTC office at Prayagraj Junction, Lucknow office, and online through the website www.irctctourism.

com. "A special Bharat Gaurav Yatra tourist train will run from Prayagraj in June and a proposal for the same has been prepared. It will provide the passengers with Jyotirlinga darshan.

Soon its information will also be released. Online booking of this package can also be done," said chief regional manager IRCTC, Ajit Kumar Sinha. IRCTC has also prepared a proposal for a separate train journey to cover all 12 Jyotirlingas, although dates and details are yet to be finalised, he added.
