Spitalfields Music Announces 2025 Festival Lineup

Spitalfields Music unveils its 2025 Festival lineup.This article only features vocal works.“A Celebration of the Voice” featuring The Carice Singers opens the festival.

The program includes the world premiere of “Theatre of Origins” by Aníbal Vidal, along with several London premieres. George Parris conducts.Performance Date: July 1, 2025“Cover Her” is a new stage work by Litha Efthymiou staring soprano Keren Motseri.



Performance Date: July 7, 2025Our festival ends with one of the world’s best choirs in one of London’s oldest and most iconic building, with performances of a Mass by the leading composer of the late Renaissance, and Messiaen’s Messe de la Pentecôte, written around 400 years later with its sparkling evocations of birdsong.The Choir of the Chapels Royal closes the festival with a performance of Palestrina’s ” Missa Dum Complerentur” and Messiaen’s “Messe de la Pentecôte.” Colm Carey conducts.
