MORRISVILLE, N.C. (WNCN) — There will be a new nonstop option for travelers between the Triangle and Music City.
In September, Spirit Airlines will begin service between Raleigh-Durham International Airport and Nashville International Airport, RDU announced Thursday. The low-cost carrier will offer four flights a week starting Sept. 4.

In March, the airline said it was launching new nonstop flights between RDU and Baltimore, Detroit, Newark, New Orleans, and Dallas/Fort Worth.
