Sparkle GMA Artist Center, the talent management company of GMA Network, warned the public against fake recruitment and auditions. GMA has been helping the careers of many artists over the years. Big names in the industry started their careers in the Kapuso network.

Through different shows, artists are showcasing their talents. However, it is inevitable that people would still take advantage no matter what a person’s status is. Even celebrities can fall victim to scams, like what happened to The Clash champion Jeremiah Tiangco.

The singer revealed that there were people who contacted him and pretended to be GMA executive Annette Gozon-Valdes and director Jun Lana . Jeremiah recorded the video call that he had with the fake Direk Jun and showed the conversation he had with the fake Annette. Fortunately, he already had apprehension about this and so he did not follow what the fake Direk Jun told him.

In a post on the official social media page of Sparkle GMA Artist Center, the Kapuso talent management company warned the public not to believe people pretending to be executives from the network. The company became aware of people who were using the names of Sparkle executives and conducting unauthorized recruitment and audition activities using Viber, Telegram, and WhatsApp. “Employees of GMA and Sparkle will never ask you to attend casting auditions, whether in person or online, where you will be required to take off your clothes,” Sparkle said.

It added that the real audition would not require the auditionee to send s=xy photos or unclothed. Sparkle asked the public to refrain from interacting with these people and report them to the official social media accounts of the company. It also advised the public to refer to the official sites of Sparkle GMA Artist Center for legitimate updates.
