Bicester will get a new pasta takeaway next month from a pair of Galician-Spanish chef brothers who are passionate about the cuisine.

Galician brothers and chefs Jose Rama and Lewis Garcia, who currently run Tapas Hermanos, have partnered with entrepreneur and marketing consultant David Fullerton to launch the new venture. The takeaway restaurant, named ¿Que Pasta? which means What Pasta? in Spanish will serve up fresh pasta pots to customers in Sheep Street, Bicester from its opening date on May 2. ” He added that one of the main goals of ¿Que Pasta? is to provide a healthier alternative to more traditional takeaway options and bring something fresh to Bicester. He said: “All three of us love great food, and fresh pasta is high on the list. “The simple yet powerful flavours of the sauces paired with fresh artisan pasta are a combination we know people will love.

Although ¿Que Pasta? will likely be on delivery apps like Deliveroo, Uber Eats and Just Eat to reach its audience, the business owners said they hope to launch their own system for direct orders, to keep prices low for customers and avoid high commission charges.

The name is a nod to the brothers’ Galician heritage, with Que (pronounced K) meaning what, and the universal word for the much-loved Italian food pasta, meaning pasta..
