Sophie Turner is thriving as she enters a new exciting chapter of her life in the UK following her messy public divorce with Joe Jonas . Despite her bitter split and custody battle with her ex-husband Joe Jonas , the 28-year-old star seems to be living her best life post-divorce as she reconnects with her roots in Britain. This week Sophie was seen in high spirits as she was honored with the Harper's Bazaar Woman of the Year award for her exceptional performance in the ITV drama Joan.

After happily accepting the award, the actress dished on her new life overseas. In a candid chat with Harper Bazaar, she shared: "I'm so happy to be back in the UK. It felt as if my life was on pause until I returned to England.



I just never really feel like myself when I'm not in London, with my friends and family." ” During the discussion, Sophie also briefly touched on her heartbreaking divorce from Joe after their four-year-long marriage in the public eye. During their relationship, Joe and Sophie welcomed their two daughters including their four-year-old Willa and two-year-old Delphine who they continue to co-parent together between the UK and US. Sophie admitted that she still couldn't reveal much about their divorce, but vulnerably shared: "I’m going through a legal process right now where I can’t really say much, but it was incredibly sad.
